For the past four years, I've proudly called the Bow Valley home. During that time, I've developed a deep appreciation for the people, businesses, and outdoor lifestyle that make this community so special. Before launching Playshade, I gained hands-on experience selling and installing residential shade sail systems for our supplier based in Revelstoke, giving me valuable insight into both the technical and practical aspects of shade solutions.

Living and working in the mountains has also shown me a clear gap in the local market. Despite the region's abundance of outdoor spaces, there are surprisingly few dedicated providers of high-quality shade solutions. Playshade was created to fill that gap by bringing professional shade sails, awnings, roll screens, and outdoor comfort solutions to homeowners, businesses, schools, and municipalities throughout the Bow Valley and beyond.

My passion for this business goes beyond creating comfortable outdoor spaces. With rising UV exposure and increasing awareness of melanoma and sun-related health risks, I believe shade plays an important role in protecting what matters most. Our families, our communities, and the outdoor spaces we enjoy every day. Whether it's helping protect children on a playground, creating a more comfortable patio, or preserving outdoor furniture and property from sun damage, my goal is to help people enjoy the outdoors more safely and comfortably.
